How ExpertVakeel collects, verifies, protects, and handles advocate information.

1. Overview & Platform Scope

ExpertVakeel (“Platform”, “we”, “our”) operates https://expertvakeel.com and the ExpertVakeel Android and iOS mobile applications. ExpertVakeel is an exclusive Advocate Networking & Professional Communication Platform built for enrolled legal practitioners.

2. Information We Collect

  • Identity & Verification Data: Full Name, Mobile Number (verified via MSG91 SMS OTP), Email Address, Bar Council Enrollment Number, Primary Practice Court, optional Profile Photo, Bio, and Practice Areas.
  • Professional Communication Data (Mobile App): One-to-one messages, private group memberships, group messages, and shared legal attachments (Images and PDFs) stored in protected server storage.
  • Device & Notification Data: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device tokens for Android, iOS, and browser push notifications.

3. Directory Privacy & Contact Protection

When your profile is approved as a Verified Advocate, your name, photo, Bar Council Enrollment Number, Primary Court, bio, and practice areas appear in the verified-only Advocate Directory inside the mobile app. Your personal mobile number and email address are not publicly displayed on directory profiles.

4. Private Attachments & Communication Security

Files shared inside one-to-one chats and private advocate groups (PDFs and images) are stored in non-public, authenticated storage and are accessible only to active, verified participants of that conversation. Platform administrators do not browse unrestricted private chat histories; administrative oversight is limited to group metadata and content explicitly reported by advocates for moderation.

5. Account Deletion & Data Retention

Advocates may request permanent account deletion at any time through the mobile app (Settings → Delete Account), logged-in web account settings, or our public Account Deletion page. Upon processing, all active tokens and push notification tokens are revoked, login is disabled, and personal profile data is deactivated/removed in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory retention requirements.
